In simple terms, we have scientifically combined an inert organic additive with raw plastic material. When that plastic is put in a landfill, it becomes a food source for microbes that break down the plastic into organic matter up to 90% faster than the same plastics without the additive. Alternatively, the majority of these same Biowrap products are recyclable. All this is achieved while maintaining the same properties and performance as equivalent plastic options in the market, without compromising the original features. There are no special storage conditions, no shelf life, and most importantly – NO microplastics.
