FRENCH COUNTRY COLLECTIONS
SUMMER 2017
The promise of summer brings with it a mood of renewal and a chance
to revitalise, the perfect reason to ring in some changes to your home.
I’m looking forward to enjoying a more laid back interior mood this
season, with simple natural contrasts and materials taking the spotlight
throughout much of our collection.
Authentic, rustic materials capture the essence of our Summer 16-17
collection; washed out wooden decoratives carved from weathered
timbers reminiscent of driftwood foraged from local shores. Cotton
durry cushions perfectly softened and aged hark back to finds from a
rug bazaar in Istanbul, while chunky provincial market baskets transport
you straight to a late summer grape harvesting afternoon in France.
This season we’ve made it effortless to bring some of the easy living
feeling on board. Our durable stonewashed canvas sofas now have
interchangeable covers- so you can simply change your look and keep
the sofa! Oversized jute tassels, hand-blown glass and neutral bone
accessories are all must haves for this season of
Natural Contrasts
.
Timeless black and white is never far away and this classic colour
combination features in tandemwith themes fromAfrica with our
Touch
of Tribal
story on pages 14 and 15.
Femininity is something we love to celebrate and this seasons bedroom
does just that. Our collection of heritage glass and silver jewellery boxes
cast from antiques are precious heirloom pieces that make giving easy
for the most difficult on your prezzie list! Feminine Creativity never
goes out of style and the new chalky white tray tables and beaded
chandelier are a definite nod to the Moroccan inspired trend, while soft
blue bedroom furniture and stonewashed Aegean blue cottons ooze
nonchalant French coastal design.
Our hero chair of this season is the beautiful yet understated
Marbella
chair
(pictured opposite). On its own, in a pair, or around a table it’s easy
to imagine whiling away afternoons with a delicious chilled Pinot Grigio
and of course the good company of family and
friends!
I hope you enjoy the relaxed mode of summer
living we’ve created in these pages and
remember an easy escape is never far away!
